Strong as Acid

By Steven Thomas

I had a breakdown yesterday, and it really put a lot of stuff in perspective.

People tend to have their own subjectivity, with an agenda full of objectives. I’m no different

from them.

See, the law of attraction states that by focusing on positivity, people can simply bring positive

outcomes. Negativity is the same way.

But the activities that we put ourselves through everyday, they begin to drain us. Stressing and

straining our brains to obey a law that saying that if I match this energy, I’ll receive it back.

Well I hate to break it to you. Similarities do not attract. As humans we are always going to

search for what we lack, whether that be sex, money, power, fame, love, and it’s all an act to

others so we can truly achieve what we desire.

Over time, as we begin to individualize, and our circle gets smaller, and smaller, and smaller,

you realize that bonds aren’t always needed. They make you stronger, sure, but the more bonds

you have, the more you’ll lose when you’re broken down. My advice?

Find balance, but don’t be basic. And stay strong as acid.
